Conclusion

     Nowadays English is one of the most spoken languages in the world. Hence, be an English teacher demands a lot of effort, especially when it isn´t your mother tongue. Also, it is necessary to learn new methodologies to engage students in the process of learning and motivate them to get the best results.

     This term I had the opportunity to teach English online and it was a remarkable experience for me, particularly for my process of teaching because it allowed me to reflect on how to be a better teacher; certainly, teaching online is a great strategy, not only I can learn a lot of things about the methodology using these types of classes but also I am more aware of my weaknesses and strengths.

     Online classes provided me the opportunity to see how I am as a teacher because I could see the records and analyzed my weakness and strengths, it provides an opportunity to get feedback and it is a way of developing self-awareness of one’s teaching

     Nevertheless, the experience is a challenger for both, because it is evident that the teacher needs to be so creative if he/she wants that the students feel part in the process of learning, and students need to interact all the time to achieve their goals.

    In sum, the online classes were an excellent opportunity to reflect on my relationship with the students and the way that I deal with problems that occur when it is necessary to use ICT tools.
